Hi,

need some help identifying the following pictures.
They are taken in early summer 1940, and shows German troops disembarking in a Norwegian town.

But which town? And can anyone identify the vessels as well?

Hello

The ship in the background on both pictures is the M/S "Pionier".
It had it's first trip between Frederikshavn and southern Norway on 18th April 1940. On the 2th September it was sunk by HMS "Sturgeon" near the Skaw en route to Frederikstad.

Best regards
Jens
