Lt Tamber RoNN

Post  Bob Pearson on Fri 21 Dec 2012 - 17:43

Does anyone happen to know of the details and whereabouts of L°ytnant Rangvald Tamber RoNN from April 18th-24th 1940?

I know he was originally on the small torpedo boat, Laks, but this was abandoned due to various reasons. However, a little later during the invasion, Tamber appeared at ┼ndalsnes and then possibly later at Molde.

The torpedo boat, Trygg was at Molde - commanded by L°ytnant Munster and it is possible that Tamber joined this boat for a while. However, I have no proof of this. If he was not on Trygg then was there another vessel that Tamber crewed?

If anyone has information on Lt Tamber, no matter how small, then I would greatly appreciate their input. I am in contact with Tamber's son and he has provided an outline of events, but does not possess exact details.

Kind regards

Bob
